A Situation Project & Cirque Du Soleil Student Short Film Festival

At the start of the school year, Situation Interactive agency staff volunteers began a long-term project with students from M.S. 278. The students learned about filmmaking by developing and producing short films based on the themes and styles presented in Paramour. Agency mentors met with the students weekly at their school. They attended a performance in mid-November, and later visited the agency’s offices in midtown to edit footage. We premiered the films at the end of the spring semester.

With mentorship programs and volunteer support, students are encouraged to explore the arts from a different lens — emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving.
